Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tarmo Suulas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dallas Bond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suulas comes to the cage accompanied by Hollywood Undead - Undead. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Tarmo Suulas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Dallas Bond!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Suulas decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Bond is trying to get back to full guard.

Suulas is working for a submission of some sort.
Bond is controlling Suulas's trapped leg to prevent Suulas from advancing to side control.

Suulas is looking for a kimura but Bond is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Suulas to get the leverage.
Suulas tries to pass to full mount but Bond defends it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bond trying to control but Suulas postures up.
Bond is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Suulas is staying active.

Suulas is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bond doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Suulas.
Bond manages to get to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Suulas trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bond's guard.
Bond keeping full guard, as Suulas tries to pass.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bond holds on and takes a little breather.
Suulas trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Suulas sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Suulas wanted to stand there but Bond had control of the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tarmo Suulas.
Bond thows a left - swing and a miss!
Suulas shoots in looking for a takedown. Bond tries to sprawl out of it but Suulas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bond manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A bone on bone clash there as Suulas blocks the leg kick.
Bond looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Suulas on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Suulas slips under a jab from Bond.
Bond throws out a leg kick but Suulas moves out of range and Bond only half commits.
Suulas throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Bond rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Suulas counters with a nice double leg into guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bond is on top in guard.
Bond wants to pass the guard but Suulas is keeping the position.
Suulas not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bond wants to pass the guard but Suulas is keeping the position.
Bond won't allow Suulas to sweep him here.
Bond slips nicely into half guard.
Well, if Bond is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bond is thwarting Suulas's attempts to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tarmo Suulas will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Suulas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bond manages to avoid it.
Bond misses with an uppercut. Suulas saw that one coming.
Bond throws a one two combo.
A telegraphed right hand from Suulas misses the target.
Tarmo Suulas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Suulas clinches with his opponent.
Bond comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Suulas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Suulas throws a hook but Bond blocks it.
Suulas is looking to land body kicks.
Suulas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bond swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bond pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Suulas blocks a leg kick.
Bond takes a swing at Suulas's ribcage but misses.
Suulas fails to land the takedown.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bond uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Suulas.
Suulas misses with an uppercut.

Suulas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bond pinned against the cage. Bond gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Suulas keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bond.
Bond scoring well with a low kick there.
Suulas is looking to clinch but Bond is avoiding it.
Bond throws a low kick but Suulas avoids it.
Suulas lands with a hook. Bond tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Bond thumps Suulas with a low kick.
Nice defenses there by Suulas.
Suulas throws a hook but Bond avoids it easily.

Bond won't allow Suulas to pass to mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bond manages to get to full guard.
Suulas throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Suulas trying to control the position from guard on top but Bond is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bond manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Suulas tries to lock up and control but Bond gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Suulas is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Bond looking to control but Suulas is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Suulas is trying desperately to improve position.
Bond tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.
Suulas wants to get back to his feet.
Suulas really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Bond wants to take Suulas's back here but Suulas is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Bond can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Suulas is looking to escape.

Bond tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Suulas wants to hold on but Bond pushes him away.
Bond sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Suulas is squirming around, avoiding Bond's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Dallas Bond will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Suulas throws a right hand that Bond ducks under and follows up with a left that Bond also avoids with ease.

Suulas wants to clinch up but Bond keeps it at a distance.

Bond closes the distance and pushes Suulas back into the cage.
Suulas goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Suulas softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

Suulas jumps guard and drags Bond to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Suulas looking for a sweep. Not yet Suulas, not yet.
Suulas will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Suulas wants to stand but Bond is controlling the position.
Suulas can't keep his opponent in guard - Bond advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Dallas Bond has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Bond throws a hook but Suulas avoids it easily.
Suulas cracks Bond with an open hand slap.
Bond throws a shot from downtown. Suulas moves away and avoids it.

Suulas connects with a nice looking jab.
Bond sizes up Suulas with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Bond misses with a right hand
and Bond takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bond lands a nice shot to the body.
Suulas is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bond uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Suulas.
Suulas takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Suulas is looking to clinch.
Bond ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Suulas moves away.
Suulas looks for a takedown but Bond sprawls well.
Suulas takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Bond lunges at Suulas with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Suulas's hand.
Horrible takedown by Suulas or perhaps it was just good defense by Bond which made him look bad.
Dallas Bond is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bond pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Bond scores with a nice right hand.
Suulas blocks a leg kick.
Bond throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Suulas sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bond tests Suulas's chin there with a solid looking shot.

and Suulas counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Suulas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dallas Bond seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bond jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Bond clinches.

Suulas works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Bond keeping moving, preventing Suulas from controlling successfully.
Suulas tries to free his leg and advance position but Bond is retaining full guard.
Bond looking for a sweep. Not yet Bond, not yet.

Bond uses the cage to get back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Suulas fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tarmo Suulas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Suulas fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bond swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Suulas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bond.
Bond looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Bond tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Suulas tries to clinch up.
Bond takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Suulas moves into range and clinches up with Bond.

And that's the end of the fight!
Dallas Bond comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Bond has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
