Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ursus Maritimus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casey Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen Outside - Staind as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Maritimus manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Maritimus, under a barage of strikes from Johnson.
Johnson wants to free his trapped foot but Maritimus is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Casey Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Johnson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Maritimus was covering up waiting for the punch and Johnson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Maritimus moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Maritimus is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Johnson.

Johnson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The fighters circle momentarily. Johnson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Maritimus lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Johnson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Johnson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Maritimus shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Johnson sprawls well. Johnson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Maritimus gets slowly back to his feet.
Maritimus is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Johnson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
