PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Finalizador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferguson has chosen Undead as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson wants to clinch up but Finalizador keeps it at a distance.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ferguson. Finalizador does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ferguson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ferguson tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Ferguson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Finalizador quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Finalizador keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Finalizador tries to kick Ferguson off but Ferguson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Finalizador tries to get to full guard but Ferguson has control of the leg.
Finalizador missing with punches from the bottom.

Ferguson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Finalizador flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ferguson connects with a nice short shot to Finalizador's temple.

Ferguson works his foot free and advances to mount.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ferguson avoids the attempt from Finalizador to control.
Ferguson lands a big shot there that rocks Finalizador but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

BOOM! Ferguson connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Finalizador is in a horrible position here. Ferguson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Ferguson landing punches.
Ferguson postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Finalizador badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Ferguson around the waist but Ferguson pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Ferguson is the winner by TKO! Ferguson jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brock Ferguson!
A very excited looking Brock Ferguson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
