Deniro has chosen The rage as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Miles Harunodo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Steve Deniro!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deniro fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Deniro misses with a jab, cross combination.

Oooooh!!! Deniro has knocked Harunodo down with a huge combo! Deniro steps away and waves a wobbly Harunodo back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Harunodo is rocked!


It looks like Miles Harunodo has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Deniro throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Harunodo.
Oh Harunodo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
No joy there for Deniro, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A head kick from Harunodo lands but Deniro takes it in his stride.


It looks like Steve Deniro has been cut.
Deniro throws a right hand that Harunodo ducks under and follows up with a left that Harunodo also avoids with ease.
Deniro shoots in for a takedown but Harunodo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Harunodo seems to have got his legs back now.
Harunodo scores with a kick to the midsection.
Deniro throws a low kick, looking for Harunodo's leg but Harunodo calmly moves out of range.
Harunodo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Deniro looks gassed!
Deniro takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Harunodo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Deniro sprawling to the canvas! Deniro rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Harunodo finish him?!


Deniro is rocked!
Deniro takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Harunodo seems to be stalking Deniro here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Deniro drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Miles Harunodo!
During a confident post fight interview, Miles Harunodo thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
