The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomaye misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yeets shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bomaye as he jumps to the side.
Bomaye throws a sloppy head kick and Yeets moves out of range easily.

Yeets closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Yeets keeps control of Bomaye as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Bomaye escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Yeets shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yeets showed some decent athleticism there.

Bomaye had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Yeets is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bomaye Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Yeets's back instead.

Yeets is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Yeets gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Yeets gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Yeets apologises and we restart here on the feet.
