I think Cannonball might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Johnny Cash - God`s Gonna Cut You Down. Mr Cannonball has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mr Cannonball!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Silver!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cannonball.
Cannonball shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cannonball avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
John Silver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cannonball tries for a takedown but Silver circles away easily

so Silver counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mr Cannonball. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silver advances to half guard.
Silver seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Silver is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cannonball wants to improve his position but Silver is controlling well.

Silver tries to stand and escape but Cannonball is controlling the position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. John Silver hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Cannonball misses with an uppercut. Silver saw that one coming.

Silver sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Cannonball to the ground! Silver dives into full mount looking to finish!


It looks like Mr Cannonball has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cannonball working to try and regain half guard.
Silver wants to control the pace but Cannonball is squirming around nicely.

Silver sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Cannonball holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Silver tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Cannonball on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cannonball tries to get out of the position.

Silver content just to control the position here.
Cannonball might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. John Silver wasn't active enough on the ground.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Silver! This one is all over!
