Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wendell Sailor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stann Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sailor comes to the cage accompanied by Blackalicious - It's Going Down. Stone is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by BLUNT- . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stone is defended easily by Sailor.

Sailor takes the fight into the clinch.
Stone drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A head punch on the inside from Sailor fails to land.
Stone is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Wendell Sailor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stann Stone.

Stone stands and throws Sailor's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Stone thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Stone breaks Sailor's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Stone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sailor swivels though and keeps the full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stone tries to free his leg and advance position but Sailor is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sailor swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stone shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sailor sprawls well. Sailor wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stone gets slowly back to his feet.

Sailor seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stone does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Stann Stone has got the better of the ground game so far.
Sailor is nestled in close to Stone, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Sailor uses his free foot to push down on Stone's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Stone.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee warns Stone that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Sailor scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stone doesn't seem bothered though.

Sailor rushes Stone with punches - Stone moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Stone goes down! Sailor follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
