Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Bomba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demian Mondello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mondello shoots for a double leg takedown but Bomba sprawls well. He's pushed Mondello's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Mondello looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bomba!

Mondello working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Mondello prevents Bomba from getting the reversal.

Mondello wants to finish this one by submission but Bomba is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Mondello.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Mondello get's back to his feet.
Mondello tries for a takedown but Bomba sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Mondello shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bomba pinned against the cage. Bomba gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bobby Bomba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demian Mondello.

Bomba shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mondello manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Bomba knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mondello on the ground.

Bomba wants to control from the top but Mondello keeps moving.

Mondello has his foot on Bomba's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bomba works his way back into a safe position though.

Mondello is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bomba is aware though and is defending well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Mondello pushes a forearm under Bomba's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Bomba is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
