PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Vicious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brock Lesnar looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vicious swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Vicious shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lesnar sprawls well. Lesnar wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vicious gets slowly back to his feet.

Lesnar wants the takedown. Vicious is fighting it off but Lesnar persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Vicious 's guard against the cage.

Vicious has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lesnar uses from the top position.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Vicious stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lesnar swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Vicious tries for a kimura but Lesnar is defending well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Brock Lesnar will probably get the nod.

Vicious is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lesnar has his foot on Vicious 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vicious works his way back into a safe position though.

Vicious is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lesnar can't fight it off and eventually Vicious manages to take the fight to the floor. Lesnar looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Sid Vicious showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Brock Lesnar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Lesnar drops back, looking for a kneebar! Vicious looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Vicious looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Vicious !

Vicious is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Vicious tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Vicious has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

I think Vicious has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
