The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddick shoots and misses

and Jones moves into the clinch.

Jones has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Riddick uses from the top position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Jones scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Jones tries to land a front kick but Riddick steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Riddick drops Jones with a beautiful combination! Jones stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Riddick is looking for the KO!

It looks like Indiana Jones has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Riddick is looking to clinch.
Riddick shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.
Jones swings for the body but Riddick moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Riddick is trying to push Jones away but Jones has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Riddick is trying to pull guard but Jones turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Indiana Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Riddick.
Jones misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Riddick.

Riddick has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Jones to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Riddick is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Jones pulls down on the head and he's put Riddick to sleep! This one is all over!
