Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Young Gun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Hope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gun throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Gun does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Young Gun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gun throws a nice looking combination but Hope bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hope checks a low kick from Gun.
Sloppy strikes from Gun. Those never looked like landing.
Hope tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Gun makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Both fighters circling a little - Gun finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Gun tries a low kick but Hope avoids it.
Gun throws a hook to the side of Hope's head but Hope sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hope takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

enabling Gun to counter with a crisp jab.

Hope slips under a jab.

Gun throws a quick inside leg kick.

Gun gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Hope throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gun blocks it with crossed arms.
Gun lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Gun lands a hook that snaps the head of Hope backwards.
Gun displaying some good clinch control by pressing Hope up against the ropes.

Hope prevents a body shot from Gun.
Gun blocks an elbow strike.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Young Gun.
Gun throws a leg kick which misses Hope's front leg but catches the back leg as Hope tries to avoid it.
Gun throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hope tries to clinch
and Gun counters with a solid body kick.

Gun lands a head kick that bluckles Hope and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Gun no doubt looking to push for a finish!

It looks like Jackson Hope has been cut.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gun.
Gun throws a solid leg kick but Hope takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gun.
Hope on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Gun looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Gun lets loose with a powerful body kick. Hope will feel that in the morning.
