Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Frank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ushio Obake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Frank has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jason Frank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ushio Obake!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frank misses with a kick to the body.
Frank tries to close the distance and clinch but Obake swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Frank moves into the clinch successfully.
Obake lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Frank tries to pull guard but Obake won't allow it.

Obake breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Obake fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Frank avoids it really well and circles away.

Frank has managed to clinch.
A knee to the head by Obake.
Frank is looking to take this one to the mat.
Obake lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Frank holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Frank blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Obake lands an elbow inside that Frank shrugs off.
Obake misses with a body punch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Obake using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Frank has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
A frustrated look appears on Frank's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Obake lands with a left to the head.
Obake goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Frank looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Frank escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Frank shoots in for a double leg but Obake sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Frank. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Obake dives in and grabs Frank's left leg, looking for a takedown. Frank pushes down on Obake's head and hops out.

Frank clinches.
Obake misses with an elbow strike.
A frustrated look appears on Frank's face as he tries to break the clinch.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Frank looks to throw an elbow but misses.
A body shot lands from Obake.
Obake lands with a left to the head.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Frank.
Frank takes an elbow to the temple.
Obake tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Frank avoids it.

Obake's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Obake blocks a head kick by Frank.
Obake shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Frank slaps away a takedown attempt from Obake, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Obake closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Frank did well to prevent Obake getting side control.

Obake is working for a submission of some sort.

Obake is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Frank is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ushio Obake opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
