Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Albert Einstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Rutecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rutecki has chosen Remember the Name as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Albert Einstein !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 33 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dexter Rutecki!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Einstein shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rutecki manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Rutecki wants to control but Einstein passes easily into half guard.
Rutecki is trying to stand.
Einstein not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Rutecki blocking the ground and pound attempt from Einstein .
Einstein with the ground and pound but Rutecki uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Einstein wants to pass the guard but Rutecki is keeping the position.

Einstein is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Einstein trying to control but Rutecki is working from the bottom.

Einstein won't allow Rutecki to get back to his feet.
Einstein throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

A head kick misses from Einstein .
Rutecki feints a jab promting Einstein to slip. Rutecki then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Einstein slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Einstein scoring well with a low kick there.
Rutecki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Einstein feints and then cracks Rutecki's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rutecki down.
A solid leg kick lands there for Einstein .
Rutecki looks gassed!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rutecki takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Einstein lands a leg kick that knocks Rutecki off balance momentarily.
Good leg kick by Einstein there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Einstein throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Dexter Rutecki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rutecki crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Einstein - the referee stops the clock and Rutecki gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Einstein . Rutecki manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
A thudding body kick lands there by Einstein !
Einstein throws a head kick that misses.
Einstein looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Einstein scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Einstein connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Rutecki some visible discomfort.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Einstein is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rutecki knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Rutecki takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Einstein wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rutecki, who protects the arm well.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rutecki is pushing Einstein 's head away, looking to escape. Einstein manages to hold on to the position though.
Einstein cracks Rutecki with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Einstein in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Albert Einstein dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Einstein throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Rutecki tumbling to the canvas!
Einstein has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rutecki keeping moving, preventing Einstein from controlling successfully.
Einstein pushes down on Rutecki's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Einstein wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rutecki keeps working.

Rutecki is trying to stand up here but Einstein is controlling him well.
Einstein lands with a punch from half guard.
Einstein seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Einstein postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Rutecki to stand up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Einstein shoots for a takedown but Rutecki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Einstein fakes the leg kick and cracks Rutecki in the body.
Rutecki is breathing heavily.
Rutecki moves forwards but Einstein connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Einstein .
Einstein connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Einstein fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A left lands for Einstein .
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Einstein scores with a sloppy right hand. Rutecki should have avoided that one.
Einstein shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rutecki as he jumps to the side.

Einstein looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Rutecki!
BOOM! Einstein connects with a massive shot to the dome!


Rutecki is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Einstein loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Rutecki scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Einstein land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Einstein stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Albert Einstein !
