The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doyle fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Willis manages to avoid it.

Willis shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Willis showed some decent athleticism there.
Willis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Doyle's head.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Willis. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Willis drops back, looking for a kneebar! Doyle looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Doyle looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Doyle!
