Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Austin Beck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Antonio Blanco!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanco fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Beck connects with a leg kick. Blanco looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Blanco throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Beck sees it coming and avoids it easily.

It looks like Antonio Blanco has been cut.
Blanco tries to bum rush Beck with a series of wild strikes but Beck uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Blanco swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Beck fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Blanco has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Beck for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Beck moves forwards but Blanco connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Some bone on bone action there as Beck checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Beck tries to close the distance and clinch but Blanco swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Beck throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Blanco.

Beck tries to work over Blanco's front leg with a kick but Blanco checks it.
Blanco throws out a leg kick but Beck moves out of range and Blanco only half commits.
Beck feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Blanco's calf.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
