The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sassafrass circles away quickly and effectively.
Hernandez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sassafrass paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sassafrass looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hernandez is looking to clinch but Sassafrass is avoiding it.
Sassafrass walks into a stiff left hand from Hernandez.

Hernandez rushes Sassafrass and presses him up against the cage.
Hernandez tries to pull guard but Sassafrass holds him up against the cage and eventually Hernandez drops back down to his feet.

Sassafrass breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Sassafrass is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Hernandez just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Sassafrass has gone limp and this one is over!
