Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Slice paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Slice counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Slice fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from James is defended easily by Slice.
James closes the distance and lands a one-two.
James looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Slice is fending him off so far but James persists. Nope, Slice circles away and we're back to standing.
Slice avoids a punch combination nicely.
James should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
James wants to clinch but Slice slips to the side
and Slice cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
James takes a kick to the side of the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from James. Slice does a little dance to reset his feet.
Slice swings for the body but James moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Horrible takedown by James or perhaps it was just good defense by Slice which made him look bad.
Kimbo Slice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddie James.
James throws a nice looking combination but Slice bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
James showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Slice.
Slice lands with a nice body punch.
Slice uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before James has time to react.
James looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from James.
James darts in trying to clinch
and Slice counters with a thumping low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Slice cracks James with a good jab.
Slice avoids a punch combination nicely.
Slice is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Slice is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Slice lands a nice hook to James's body. James takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Slice throws a leg kick which misses James's front leg but catches the back leg as James tries to avoid it.
James looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Some wild striking there from James.
James takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
It looks like Freddie James has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Slice cracks James with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
James moves to clinch but Slice breaks away
and Slice counters with a lovely straight right hand!
James fails with the takedown
and Slice counters with a thumping low kick.
James has his takedown stuffed
and Slice counters with a head kick. That will keep James thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Slice throws a head kick that James semi-blocks.
Slice drops James with a big left hand! James is injured, injured bad! Slice jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
