Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Ou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Hyabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ou comes to the cage accompanied by Advance On. Hyabusa has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Ryu Hyabusa has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ou walks forward, straight into a front kick from Hyabusa.
Hyabusa takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hyabusa tries to clinch up.
Some wild striking there from Hyabusa.
Ou misses with a series of wild punches.
Ou checks a low kick from Hyabusa.
Ryu Hyabusa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Donk. Ou catches Hyabusa right on the button with a cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ou cracks Hyabusa with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Ou and Hyabusa goes tumbling to the canvas! Ou follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Hyabusa is rocked!

It looks like Ryu Hyabusa has been cut.
Hyabusa looks gassed!

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hyabusa is looking to control Ou's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hyabusa avoid being mounted?
Ou wants to stand but Hyabusa has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Ou looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Ou tries to pass to full mount but Hyabusa defends it.
It looks like Ou is going to stand back up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ou in particular looking to stall.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Joe Ou wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Ou dodges the punch combination from Hyabusa.
Hyabusa throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Ou to counter with a crisp jab.

Ou throws a nice looking combination but Hyabusa bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Ou waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Hyabusa. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Hyabusa to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Hyabusa is still in real trouble! Can Ou finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hyabusa tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hyabusa seems to have recovered his senses.
Hyabusa keeping moving, preventing Ou from controlling successfully.
Ou knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hyabusa on the ground.
Ou looking to pass the guard.
Ou stays in close to Hyabusa's body and controls the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Joe Ou wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Hyabusa closes the distance and pushes Ou back into the cage.

Hyabusa tries to keep at a distance but Ou has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ou lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Hyabusa or not.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hyabusa is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Ou lands with a short shot to the head.

Ou breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Ou closes the distance and clinches.
Ou scores with a shot to the side of Hyabusa's head.
Ou lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
A right hook to the body lands for Ou.

Ou working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Ou escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Ou has Hyabusa up against the cage in a clinch.

Ou floors Hyabusa with a big punch on the inside! Hyabusa is trying to recover but Ou dives into side control.
Ou tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Ou stands up and beckons Hyabusa to his feet.
Hyabusa ducks under a wild hook from Ou.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ou fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Ou throws a series of punches but Hyabusa moves out of range.
Ou misses the shot to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Ryu Hyabusa's cut.
That's time! Ou's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hyabusa moves out of range of the strikes.

Ou lands a big shot that drops Hyabusa! Can he finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ou passes into half guard.
Ou keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Ou stands up from half guard.
Hyabusa leaves his chin hanging out and Ou seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Hyabusa crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
