Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fabricio Valesquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Valesquez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "Ratamahatta" by Sepultura. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mayweather drives through with a takedown into guard.

Valesquez drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mayweather gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Valesquez goes for a takedown in the clinch but Mayweather prevents it.

Valesquez has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Mayweather after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fabricio Valesquez. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Valesquez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Mayweather is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Valesquez to the mat. Valesquez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Valesquez moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Mayweather.
Valesquez tries to move to mount but Mayweather blocks the move with his legs.

Valesquez is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mayweather is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Valesquez thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Mayweather is not content to let Valesquez control the position.

Valesquez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Valesquez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Valesquez has an Americana. Mayweather didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Valesquez is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Valesquez hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
