Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krayzie Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akira Shinsato!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shinsato is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.

and Shinsato decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jackson's guard.
Jackson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shinsato stands and steps away. Jackson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

You can see the frustration on Jackson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Shinsato looks up at the clock and then as Jackson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Shinsato smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Jackson parries the strikes from Shinsato easily there. Shinsato is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Jackson to escape.
Shinsato is staying tight to Jackson's torso, preventing him from escaping.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shinsato thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Jackson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Shinsato is controlling him well.

Jackson tries a head kick but it misses.
Shinsato shoots in but no luck this time.

Shinsato shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl out of it but Shinsato keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jackson rushes Shinsato and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Jackson is standing up over Shinsato. Shinsato looks to escape but Jackson dives into side control.
Shinsato is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Jackson asserts his dominance and retains side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jackson controls the position.
Shinsato is not content to let Jackson control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Krayzie Jackson will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Jackson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Shinsatos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Shinsato is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Jackson still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Jackson has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
