Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rocky Mountain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Austin Rivers!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Rivers looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rivers ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Mountain enables Rivers to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mountain manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Rivers throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mountain works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Rivers passes Mountain's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Rivers is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Mountain tries to kick Rivers off but Rivers keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Rivers is taking a breather. Mountain says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
It looks like Rivers might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Mountain is staying active underneath Rivers, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Austin Rivers.
Nice takedown defense from Mountain. No joy for Rivers on that attempt.
That kick from Mountain tenderised Rivers's leg. Rivers is trying to keep his angry face on.

Rivers with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mountain to score with a decent uppercut.
Mountain throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rivers stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rivers shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Rocky Mountain is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rivers swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Austin Rivers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mountain throws a right and a left that Rivers avoids nicely.

Mountain has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mountain there as he acknowledges the shot.

Rivers cracks Mountain with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Rivers fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rivers tries to clinch but Mountain moves out of range.
Mountain throws a nice looking combination but Rivers bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mountain lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Austin Rivers will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Mountain clinches up with Rivers and pushes him back against the cage.
Mountain has had enough of the clinch but Rivers keeps him there for the moment.

Mountain's corner calls for a 1-2. Mountain obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Mountain tries to clinch up but Rivers circles away and keeps his distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rivers avoids the head kick by Mountain.
Rivers seems to have recovered his senses.
Rivers shoots in and drives through. Mountain sprawls well.

Mountain scores with a one two! Rivers had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Rivers shoots in for a takedown but Mountain shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mountain throws a nice outside leg kick.
A big left from Rivers misses.
Mountain lands a big head kick that sends Rivers tumbling to the mat! Mountain takes a step backwards and waves Rivers back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mountain drops Rivers with a straight right hand, right on the button! Mountain follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
