Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teppo Tulppu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Primo Carnera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carnera has chosen DMX - one more road to cross as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Primo Carnera enters the cage!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tulppu connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
No luck for Carnera with that takedown attempt.
Tulppu swings for the body but Carnera moves out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Carnera looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tulppu is fending him off so far but Carnera persists. Nope, Tulppu circles away and we're back to standing.
Carnera shoots in looking for a takedown. Tulppu tries to sprawl out of it but Carnera keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tulppu manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Carnera sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Tulppu is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Tulppu manages to work his way to half guard, despite Carnera's best efforts.
Carnera looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tulppu with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee asks Tulppu politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Tulppu prefers to stall for the moment though.
