Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Holden James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Rand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Aerials. Rand has chosen The Last Dragon as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rand with a hook.
Rand throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and James counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rand slips a jab from James.
James blocks a head kick by Rand.
James showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rand.
Rand lands a head kick!
James is looking to clinch but Rand is avoiding it.
James throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rand on the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
An inside leg kick lands from Rand.
Rand tries to close the distance and clinch up but James swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rand throws a nice looking combination but James bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rand keeps the fight on the outside.

and James counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by James.
James tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Rand breaks from the clinch.
Rand cracks James with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Rand tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

James misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rand misses with a straight left.
James walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

A slow jab from James misses its intended target.
James throws a hook to the side of Rand's head but Rand sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rand missing with a left hand there. James was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rand throws a right and a left that James avoids nicely.
James takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rand tries to clinch up.

James displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rand throws out the jab.
James works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

and James counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Rand lands a head kick!

James fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rand, pushing him back against the cage.
Rand blocks a punch to the side of the head.
James prevents Rand from breaking the clinch.

James's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Rand is trying to push James away but James has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Rand breaks the clinch.
James throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
James misses with an uppercut. Rand saw that one coming.

Rand scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Rand ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Rand moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
James throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
James showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rand.
James wants to clinch.
James tries to close the distance and clinch but Rand swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rand throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by James.
Rand misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Daniel Rand dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Rand throws a sloppy head kick and James moves out of range easily.
James doesn't manage to clinch there - Rand circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - James looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rand slips under a jab.
James tries a head kick but it misses.
James lands with an uppercut that bounces Rand off the cage and back into range.

James lands a big head kick that sends Rand tumbling to the mat! James takes a step backwards and waves Rand back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Rand is rocked!

It looks like Daniel Rand has been cut.

James darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Rand's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles James before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Holden James!
Holden James was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
