Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mike throws a low kick but Alves moves out of range easily.
Mike fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Some wild striking there from Alves.
Mike takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Mike throws a right and a left that Alves avoids nicely.
Alves throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Alves stuffs the takedown attempt from Mike. Mike gets slowly back to his feet.
A punch combination from Alves misses.
Alves swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The fighters circling - Alves throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Alves throws a head kick that Mike semi-blocks.
Alves tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mike throws a series of punches but Alves moves out of range.

Alves lands a big head kick that sends Mike tumbling to the mat! Alves takes a step backwards and waves Mike back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Mike is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Alves is looking to slow Mike down with leg kicks.
Mike is still on wobbly legs! Can Alves finish him?
Mike misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Alves looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Alves backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Mike's temple! It sends Mike violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Alves celebrates and the doctors try to help Mike!
