Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Drake Aubrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Shelby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aubrey comes into the arena with Over - Drake blaring out of the sound system. Shelby has chosen Amazing as his entrance music. Nate Shelby told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aubrey checks the leg kick.
Shelby just misses with a punch to the body.

Shelby paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Shelby tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Aubrey throws a lazy right hand but Shelby sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Shelby scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Aubrey looks to land a right hand but Shelby moved out of range.

and Shelby counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Shelby scores with a shot to the body.

Aubrey tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shelby paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Aubrey is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Shelby's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Shelby throws out a loose jab but Aubrey uses good head movement to avoid it.
Aubrey doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Aubrey closes the distance and pushes Shelby back into the cage.

Shelby has a couple of punches blocked by Aubrey.
A right hook to the body lands for Aubrey.
Aubrey lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

It looks like Nate Shelby has been cut.

Shelby looks to throw an elbow but misses.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Drake Aubrey will probably get the nod.

Shelby seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Aubrey shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Shelby is backing up but Aubrey catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Shelby covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Aubrey Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

After winning the bout, Drake Aubrey thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
