The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Steele misses the target.
An inside leg kick lands from Steele.
Threepwood bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Guybrush Threepwood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Threepwood blocks a leg kick.
Threepwood swings for the body but Steele moves out of range.
Threepwood tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Steele is able to avoid easily.
Steele fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Threepwood checks it well.

and Steele makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Threepwood uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Steele.
Steele throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Steele darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Steele makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Threepwood really felt that one!
Threepwood ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Steele moves away.

Threepwood lands a nice hook to Steele's body. Steele takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Steele throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Threepwood's head.

It looks like Guybrush Threepwood has been cut.

and Steele counters with a head kick. That will keep Threepwood thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Steele throws a leg kick but Threepwood sees it coming and moves out of range.
Threepwood tries to clinch but Steele moves away
and Steele counters with a huge head kick that drops Threepwood! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
