The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diesel stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Marshall connects with a nice looking jab.
Marshall lands with a nice combination. Diesel backs away looking to recover.

Diesel is rocked!
Marshall throws a series of punches but Diesel moves out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Diesel avoids the head kick by Marshall.
Diesel showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Marshall.
Marshall is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Diesel .
Nice combo by Diesel ! Oh, that's hurt him - Marshall falls to the canvas and Diesel follows him into side control.

Marshall is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Diesel looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Oh Marshall is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Marshall tries to escape but Diesel is in control.
Marshall seems to have got his legs back now.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Marshall is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Diesel is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Marshall knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Diesel jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
