The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karlsson looks to score with a jab to the body but Bonkers is just out of range.
Karlsson throws a right hand that misses
and Bonkers counters with a body kick.
Bonkers connects with an inside leg kick.
Horrible takedown by Karlsson or perhaps it was just good defense by Bonkers which made him look bad.
The crowd cheers as Bonkers lands an impressive looking overhand right. Karlsson doesn't seem phased though.
Karlsson throws an overhand right that lands on Bonkers's shoulder, as Bonkers tries to avoid the shot.
Karlsson misses the jab.
Bonkers looks to score with a jab to the body but Karlsson is just out of range.

General Bonkers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Karlsson swats away the attempt to clinch by Bonkers.
Bonkers thows a body kick. Karlsson tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Bonkers connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Jimmy Karlsson has been cut.
Bonkers fakes the leg kick and cracks Karlsson in the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bonkers lands a nice leg kick that just misses Karlsson's sensitive parts.
