Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Freeman!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saito lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Steve Freeman has been cut.
Freeman shoots in looking for a takedown but Saito manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Freeman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Freeman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Saito but Saito pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Freeman is trying hard to land a takedown here. Saito sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Masa Saito has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Freeman.
Freeman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Saito defends it nicely.
Freeman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Freeman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Saito counters with a right hand to the body.
Freeman looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Saito swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Saito throws a jab but it's blocked by Freeman.
Saito jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
The crowd cheers as Saito lands an impressive looking overhand right. Freeman doesn't seem phased though.
Freeman is trying desperately to land a takedown but Saito is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Freeman.
Freeman misses with a takedown
and Saito connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That has opened up Steve Freeman's cut even more.
Freeman takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Saito lands a lovely overhand right.
Freeman is rocked!
Freeman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Saito counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Freeman out cold! What a finish! Saito is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Masa Saito!
