Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roddy Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruiz Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomez has chosen rage against the machine bulls on parade as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ferguson circles away quickly and effectively.
Gomez tries to bum rush Ferguson with a series of wild strikes but Ferguson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nice sprawl there from Gomez as Ferguson shoots in.
Ferguson tries for a takedown but Gomez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ferguson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Ferguson missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Gomez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gomez wants to get back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gomez can do anything to dispel that myth.

Ferguson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Gomez is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
