Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vedeckis tries for a takedown but Hammer circles away easily
and Hammer decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Vedeckis's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Hammer trying to control but Vedeckis is working from the bottom.
Hammer controlling from the top position.
Hammer is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Hammer passes Vedeckis's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Hammer performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Hammer is thwarting Vedeckis's attempts to control the position.
Vedeckis tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Hammer has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Hammer working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Vedeckis turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Hammer off and cradles Vedeckis's limp body as Hammer celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Neil Hammer!
