The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Heart gets caught flat footed, as Henderson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Henderson has gone for a leg lock! Heart slips out almost immediately though and dives into Henderson's guard.
Heart is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Heart would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Henderson is looking for a triangle but Heart pushes his legs off easily.
Heart lands a couple of elbows.

Henderson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Heart is aware though and is defending well.

Henderson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Heart stacks Henderson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Heart!

Heart has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Heart tries to pass the half guard into mount. Henderson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Henderson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Heart is trying to work for a kimura but Henderson is defending well.
Heart seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Henderson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Heart pulls his head out easily.
