Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mamed Kalidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lennox Cueto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mamed Kalidov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lennox Cueto!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Thiago Cunha and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cueto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kalidov swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kalidov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A head kick misses from Cueto.
Cueto fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cueto misses with a combination
and Kalidov counters with a takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kalidov misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Kalidov in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Kalidov remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Kalidov stands up and beckons Cueto to his feet.
A head kick misses from Cueto.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kalidov pushes Cueto up against the cage in a clinch.
Cueto connects with a knee to the head.
Cueto wants to break the clinch but can't.
Cueto throws an elbow that misses.
Kalidov tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Cueto is trying to push Kalidov away but Kalidov has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Cueto lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Cueto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kalidov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cueto's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kalidov advances to half guard.
Kalidov works his way into side control.
Kalidov has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Lennox Cueto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kalidov fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cueto to the ground. Kalidov is now in Cueto's guard.
Kalidov's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Kalidov seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cueto for as long as he can get away with.
Cueto looks gassed!
Mamed Kalidov has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Kalidov throws the kick towards the body but Cueto avoids it.
Cueto swats away the attempt to clinch by Kalidov.
Kalidov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cueto pinned against the cage. Cueto gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kalidov misses with a wild body shot.
Cueto lands a big head kick that sends Kalidov tumbling to the mat! Cueto takes a step backwards and waves Kalidov back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kalidov is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cueto throws a powerful right kick. Kalidov tried to block low but the kick was high! Kalidov was taken right off of his feet! Cueto jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Lennox Cueto!
