Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Julle Bulle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sabin Figaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bulle with a jab.
Bulle fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Figaro throws a shot from downtown. Bulle moves away and avoids it.
The fighters circling - Figaro throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Bulle scores with a nice head shot.
Figaro ducks right into an uppercut from Bulle.
Figaro takes a kick to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bulle swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Julle Bulle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bulle lands with an overhand left.
Bulle throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Figaro stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Bulle makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Figaro doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Bulle looks to score with a jab to the body but Figaro is just out of range.

Bulle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Figaro moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bulle throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Figaro has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bulle finds it's way round the side to connect with Figaro's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Figaro looks to score with a jab to the body but Bulle is just out of range.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Figaro thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Bulle wants to stand up but Figaro is controlling him.

Bulle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Figaro has his foot on Bulle's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bulle works his way back into a safe position though.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Sabin Figaro hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Figaro.
Figaro tries to bum rush Bulle with a series of wild strikes but Bulle uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bulle fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Figaro has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Bulle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Figaro on the ground.

Figaro bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bulle's guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Figaro is trying desperately to improve position.
Figaro wants to hold on but Bulle pushes him away.

Figaro manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Bulle tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Figaro.
Figaro is not content to let Bulle control the position.
Bulle is pressing down on Figaro's thigh, looking to free his foot. Figaro is holding on for now.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bulle wants to take a breather but Figaro is having none of it.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Julle Bulle.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bulle, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
