The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fuschini rushes Saki and presses him up against the cage.

Saki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Saki moves in looking to clinch but Fuschini pushes him off.

and Saki counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fuschini's guard now.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fuschini holds on and takes a little breather.
Fuschini lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Saki!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Saki knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fuschini on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Despite being in the dominant position, Alessio Fuschini just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
