The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Long uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rubberboot.

Long drives through and clinches with Rubberboot against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rubberboot.
Rubberboot wants to stall.
Long can't find room to land a body shot as Rubberboot controls the action.
Rubberboot is leaning against Long and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Long pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Long moves out of range of the leg kick from Rubberboot.
Rubberboot rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Long moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rubberboot takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Rubberboot throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Long scores with a sloppy right hand. Rubberboot should have avoided that one.

Long throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rubberboot stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Long lands a jab-cross combination.
Long is looking to wear down Rubberboot with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Long cracks a nice hook into Rubberboot's ribs.

Rubberboot takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Long lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Long.
Long pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rubberboot back to the cage. Long follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Rubberboot throws a right hand that Long ducks under and follows up with a left that Long also avoids with ease.

Rubberboot throws the kick towards the body but Long avoids it.
Long lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rubberboot at a distance.
Rubberboot throws a wild hook but Long just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Rubberboot gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Long raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
