Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dudley Dawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Ripley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dawson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lambda Lambda Lambda Song. Ripley has chosen The Talented Mr. Ripley - Tu Vuo' Fa l'Americano as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ripley throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ripley misses with the combination.

Ripley shoots in and gets a takedown into Dawson's guard.
Ripley postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Ripley throws a big elbow that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ripley stands and steps away. Dawson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Dawson dodges the punch combination from Ripley.
Mr Ripley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Ripley. Those never looked like landing.
Ripley tries to bum rush Dawson with a series of wild strikes but Dawson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ripley moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Ripley changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dawson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Ripley is trying to get an arm triangle but Dawson is defending well.
You can see the frustration on Dawson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Ripley has hold of Dawson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dawson seems comfortable defending it but Ripley has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dawson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dawson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ripley couldn't care less - he's delighted!
