Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stalberg throws a one two combo.
Left hook, right uppercut from Stalberg.
Stalberg keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Stalberg lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Kahala sprawling to the canvas. Stalberg follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Kahala hang on?


Kahala is rocked!


It looks like Kalahu Kahala has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kahala is looking for a sweep. Stalberg is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Oh Kahala is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stalberg tries to stand but can't do so whilst Kahala controls his leg.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stalberg can do anything to dispel that myth.

You get the feeling that Stalberg really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kahala moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Stalberg has worked his arm free - good work by Stalberg!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stalberg parries the strikes from Kahala easily there. Kahala is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Stalberg to escape.

Stalberg rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kahala moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Stalberg changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Stalberg stalks Kahala and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kahala's face. Kahala staggers backwards, shaken.

Kahala looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Stalberg's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Kahala is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Stalberg can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Stalberg is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Kahala thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Stalberg is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
