Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolf's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Primus: John the Fisherman. Michael Martin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Wolf swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Martin is now in Wolf's guard. A big mistake from Wolf there, giving up the dominant position!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Martin wants to stand but Wolf has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Wolf seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Wolf wants to improve his position but instead Martin has moved into half guard.

Martin is looking to take a break and control but Wolf is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Wolf is pulling down on Martin's head. It's preventing any offense from Martin, at least for the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Martin lands a nice hook to Wolf's body. Wolf takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Martin is looking to stand up but Wolf isn't so interested in that idea.

Martin throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Martin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wolf.
Wolf shoots in for a double leg but Martin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Wolf fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Martin manages to avoid it.

Wolf moves forwards but Martin connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Wolf throws a front kick aimed at Martin's knee but Martin avoids it well.
No joy there for Wolf, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Martin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wolf looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Some bone on bone action there as Wolf checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

A close round but Michael Martin will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wolf lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Martin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Martin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Wolf shoots in looking for a takedown. Martin tries to sprawl out of it but Wolf keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Martin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Wolf throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wolf is looking to wear down Martin with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Wolf connects with a leg kick. Martin looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Martin closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Wolf! Martin dives in looking to finish! Wolf is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Martin! Michael Martin retains his light heavyweight title!
After the fight, Michael Martin was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
