Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ball Sack Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dickson Yamada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sack Jr comes to the cage accompanied by 311 - Down. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sack Jr takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Ball Sack Jr has been cut.
Yamada takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Sack Jr takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A slapping leg kick lands for Yamada.

Yamada thumps Sack Jr with a low kick.

Yamada feints and then cracks Sack Jr's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sack Jr down.

Sack Jr leaves Yamada with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Yamada jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

and Sack Jr counters with a one-two to the body.
Yamada moves to clinch but Sack Jr breaks away
and Sack Jr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Yamada is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Sack Jr wants to break free but Yamada has control.

Yamada escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sack Jr closes this distance looking for a takedown but Yamada circles away.

Yamada uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sack Jr.

Yamada is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sack Jr knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sack Jr is not content to let Yamada control the position.

Yamada decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sack Jr to his feet.
Sack Jr comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Sack Jr closes this distance looking for a takedown but Yamada circles away.
Yamada pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Yamada scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Yamada fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sack Jr.

Yamada drives through with a takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Yamada gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Sack Jr moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Sack Jr connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Yamada's hands.

Yamada closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Sack Jr wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Yamada's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Yamada misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sack Jr stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Yamada.
Sack Jr shoots in looking for a takedown. Yamada tries to sprawl out of it but Sack Jr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yamada manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ball Sack Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Yamada shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sack Jr pinned against the cage. Sack Jr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Yamada takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Yamada connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Sack Jr pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Yamada back to the cage. Sack Jr follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Yamada throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sack Jr counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Sack Jr cracks Yamada with an open hand slap.
No joy there for Sack Jr, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sack Jr is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Yamada tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A left and a right from Yamada both land. Nice combination.
Yamada lands with a nice body punch.
Sack Jr swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Yamada tries to close the distance and clinch but Sack Jr swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Sack Jr scores with a crisp jab that stopped Yamada in his tracks.
Yamada with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Sack Jr misses with a body shot.
Sack Jr moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Sack Jr walks straight into a right hand from Yamada - that's dropped him! Yamada jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Sack Jr from any more punishment! Sack Jr complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
