Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leif Ericson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Angelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leif Ericson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
24 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Angelo!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ericson looks for the body kick but Angelo saw that one coming.
Ericson stuns Angelo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Ericson connects with a leg kick. Angelo looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Angelo tries for a takedown but Ericson circles away easily
and Ericson counters with a leg kick.
Ericson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Angelo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ericson as he jumps to the side.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ericson, as that shot connected.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ericson.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ericson scores with a body shot.
Angelo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ericson sprawls well. Ericson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Angelo gets slowly back to his feet.
Leif Ericson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Angelo.
Ericson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Angelo's calf.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ericson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Angelo at a distance.
Angelo looks gassed!
Ericson lands the left hand.
Angelo misses with a takedown
and Ericson counters with an inside leg kick.
Ericson delivers a nice body kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ericson scores with a decent looking hook.
Ericson lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Ericson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Angelo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Angelo moves forwards but Ericson connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Sloppy strikes from Ericson. Those never looked like landing.
A slapping leg kick lands for Ericson.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ericson cracks a nice hook into Angelo's ribs.
Ericson cracks Angelo with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Angelo falls to his knees and Ericson doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leif Ericson!
