Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hulk Hogan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Criss Angel!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Columbo Gatti and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angel missing with a left hand there. Hogan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Hogan rushes Angel and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hogan tries to score a body lock takedown but Angel shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Angel struggles to land a body shot inside as Hogan controls his hands.
Hogan prevents Angel from breaking the clinch.
Angel is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Hogan drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hulk Hogan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hogan goes for a takedown attempt but Angel pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Hogan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Angel swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Some wild striking there from Angel.
Angel misses with a low kick.
Criss Angel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Angel cracks the inside of Hogan's front leg.
Angel throws a solid leg kick but Hogan takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Angel.

Hogan has managed to clinch.
Angel prevents the takedown attempt.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Hogan as Angel tries to tie him up.

Hogan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hogan manages to end up in side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Hogan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hogan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hogan looks up at the clock and then as Angel takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hogan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Hogan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hogan scores with punches from side control.

Hogan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hogan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hogan connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Angel some visible discomfort.
Angel tries to improve position but can't.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Angel can do anything to dispel that myth.
Angel looks to move to half guard but instead Hogan has passed into mount! Damn!

Hogan has hold of Angel's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Angel manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Hogan looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Hogan lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Angel hang on?
Hogan lands a big elbow.
Hogan lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Angel! Hogan sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Angel and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Hulk Hogan!
Hulk Hogan opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
