Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bat Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Perry, right into the meat.

No joy there for Rua, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Rua with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Perry to score with a decent uppercut.

Perry connects with a body shot that sends Rua's belly button to the back.
Perry scores with a one two! Rua had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Perry trying to control the position but instead, Rua has worked for underhooks and has pushed Perry into the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Rua gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Bat Perry has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Perry tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rua was well out of range. Poor timing from Perry.

Rua has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Perry finds it's way round the side to connect with Rua's head.

Perry moves in looking to clinch but Rua pushes him off.
Rua misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rua takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The crowd cheers as Perry lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rua doesn't seem phased though.

Perry lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Rua backs up against the cage.

It looks like Charles Rua has been cut.

Perry tries to close the distance and clinch but Rua swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rua misses with the combination.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Rua on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rua swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Perry fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rua has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Perry stuns Rua with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Rua has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Perry dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That kick from Perry tenderised Rua's leg. Rua is trying to keep his angry face on.
Perry shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Rua eats them both and turns towards Perry to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Perry comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Perry fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rua gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Rua tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Perry is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Rua buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Rua!! Rua is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Perry throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
