The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaumpe defending well as Cartman loads up on a big left hand.
Gaumpe lands with a nice body punch.
A telegraphed right hand from Cartman misses the target.
Gaumpe takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Gaumpe bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Gaumpe slips a jab and a cross from Cartman.
Cartman connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Gaumpe pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gaumpe chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Gaumpe showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cartman.
Gaumpe ducks under a wild hook from Cartman.
Gaumpe slips under a jab from Cartman.
Cartman looks to land a right hand but Gaumpe moved out of range.
Cartman throws a jab when Gaumpe was well out of range.
Cartman misses with a body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cartman misses with a two punch combination.
Cartman misses with a hook. Gaumpe ducked under it nicely.
Gaumpe throws a jab but it's blocked by Cartman.
Nice cross by Cartman.

Gaumpe is looking to land body kicks.
Cartman on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Cartman lands a jab-cross combination.
Cartman scores with the left hand. Gaumpe knows he should have avoided that one.
A slapping body kick lands there for Gaumpe.
Cartman takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Cartman looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cartman swings widly with a right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Cartman misses with a hook
and Gaumpe counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Eric Cartman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cartman takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Gaumpe scores with a spinning back kick!
Gaumpe connects with a high kick.

It looks like Eric Cartman has been cut.
Gaumpe scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Gaumpe is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cartman.
Cartman avoids the head kick by Gaumpe.
Gaumpe throws a good cross that connects.
Gaumpe buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Cartman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Gaumpe lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Gaumpe lands a big head kick that sends Cartman tumbling to the mat! Gaumpe takes a step backwards and waves Cartman back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Cartman is rocked!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Gaumpe has cracked Cartman with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Gaumpe lands another huge swinging hook and Cartman tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Cartman, before Gaumpe can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Rantis Gaumpe!
