Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Freddy MacDonage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Gunderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Freddy MacDonage has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Freddy MacDonage seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Bill Gunderson!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from MacDonage. Gunderson shrugs it off though.
Gunderson misses with a takedown attempt - MacDonage sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Gunderson shoots in and bounces MacDonage off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Gunderson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but MacDonage manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gunderson has MacDonage in his guard.
Gunderson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as MacDonage controls the pace.

Gunderson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

MacDonage got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gunderson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, MacDonage has managed to get both his arms back between Gunderson's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
MacDonage is landing with some decent strikes but Gunderson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

That has opened up Bill Gunderson's cut even more.
Gunderson is looking to improve his position but MacDonage isn't that keen on the idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gunderson bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Gunderson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! MacDonage is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gunderson, into his guard.

MacDonage moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Gunderson.

MacDonage tries for a kimura but Gunderson is defending well.

MacDonage wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gunderson keeps working.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
MacDonage is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gunderson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Gunderson tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but MacDonage presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

MacDonage shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gunderson is trying to defend but MacDonage finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

MacDonage closes the distance and clinches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Still in the clinch, MacDonage scores with a nice short uppercut.

The cut above Bill Gunderson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

MacDonage pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

MacDonage looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

MacDonage seems to be looking for submissions.

MacDonage is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gunderson defends it well.

A kick lands to the mid section there for MacDonage.

Bill Gunderson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
