Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grenier keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bom steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Grenier.
Grenier tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bom throws a nice looking combination but Grenier bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bom shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Grenier pinned against the cage. Grenier gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Grenier swats away the attempt to clinch by Bom.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Bom pushes Grenier up against the cage in a clinch.
Bom wants to break free but Grenier has control.
Bom tries to break the clinch but Grenier is controlling the position.

Grenier fakes the leg kick and cracks Bom in the body.
Grenier pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Grenier misses with a few strikes there.
Grenier throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bom counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bom.
Grenier is trying to break the clinch but Bom has him pressed against the cage.

Grenier blocks an elbow strike.
Bom is breathing heavily.
Bom manages to break the clinch.
A combination from Grenier does no damage.
Bom is looking to clinch.
Grenier thuds a left hand into Bom's body.

Grenier lets loose with a powerful body kick. Bom will feel that in the morning.
Grenier drops Bom with a right and a left! Grenier comes rushing in but Bom regains his composure and manages to keep Grenier in guard.
Bom is rocked!
It looks like Alguem Bom has been cut.
Bom is striking but Grenier is not phased and passes to half guard.
Oh Bom is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bom wants to get back to full guard.

Bom has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Grenier's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Bom is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Grenier's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Grenier's back!
Bom seems to have got his legs back now.
Bom throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
Bom lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Bom.
Grenier covering up well under a barage of strikes.
Bom throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Bom wants to control but Grenier is keeping busy.
Grenier really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bom. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Grenier looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Grenier tries to escape but Bom has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Even with his hooks in, Bom manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Grenier is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Grenier manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position.

Bom throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Grenier counters with a leg kick.

Chris Grenier is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Grenier tries to move into range but Bom moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Grenier is rocked!
Bom wants to clinch.
Grenier is still on wobbly legs! Can Bom finish him?
Bom throws a right and a left that Grenier avoids nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Grenier walks straight into a right hand from Bom - that's dropped him! Bom jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Grenier from any more punishment! Grenier complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Alguem Bom!
