With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vincent Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roc misses the shot to the body.
Roc looks to throw the jab but Hunter is out of range.
Hunter misses with a wild combination.
Hunter fails with an attempt to clinch.

Roc manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hunter on his heels. He'll look to pass Hunter's guard now, I'm sure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roc postures up in Hunter's guard and throws a big left but Hunter blocks it.
Roc stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hunter swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Roc has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Vincent Hunter was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Hunter fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Roc has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Roc throws an overhand right that lands on Hunter's shoulder, as Hunter tries to avoid the shot.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hunter throws a solid leg kick but Roc takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hunter.
Hunter buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Roc dips to his left and cracks Hunter with an uppercut!

Roc walks forward, straight into a front kick from Hunter.

Hunter throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Hunter tries to land a leg kick but Roc saw it coming and moves away.
Roc misses with a takedown attempt - Hunter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hunter throws a low kick but it's checked well by Roc.

Roc shoots in for a takedown but Hunter shows good takedown defense.

Hunter feints and then cracks Roc's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Roc down.

Vincent Hunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hunter fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Roc is out of range.

Roc fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hunter sprawls well initially but Roc persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A nice elbow there by Roc.
Hunter sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Roc is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hunter defends it well.

Hunter is looking for a sweep. Roc is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hunter makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hunter.

Hunter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Roc can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hunter not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Vincent Hunter hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Roc fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Roc just misses with a punch to the body.

That's nine minutes gone in the round.
Hunter throws a looping overhand right but Roc ducks down to avoid it.
Hunter throws a low kick but Roc moves out of range easily.
Roc just misses with a punch to the body.
Roc throws a big shot that misses.
Roc has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hunter.
Hunter connects with a nice looking jab.
Hunter throws a half hearted mid kick.
Hunter connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Roc momentarily.
Hunter is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Roc crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hunter - the referee stops the clock and Roc gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hunter. Roc manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Hunter - that will leave a mark!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hunter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Roc moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Hunter tries to close the distance and clinch up but Roc swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hunter buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Roc cracks Hunter with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Roc will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Good leg kick by Hunter there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hunter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Roc has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hunter has managed to get both his arms back between Roc's legs - danger averted.

Well Hunter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
