The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson scoring well with a low kick there.
Tuffy Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steve takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Nelson thuds his shin into the meat of Steve's side.
Steve misses with a hook
and Nelson counters with an outside leg kick.
Steve stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Nelson.

Oooh a lovely combination from Nelson sends Steve down but not out. Nelson dives into side control looking to finish.

Steve is rocked!
Nelson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Nelson in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Steve looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Nelson turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
