Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Alkofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dennis Alkofer is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dennis Alkofer!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Alkofer.
Alkofer throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cruz.
Alkofer connects with a body shot that sends Cruz's belly button to the back.
Cruz is breathing heavily.
Alkofer throws a leg kick which misses Cruz's front leg but catches the back leg as Cruz tries to avoid it.
Alkofer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cruz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Alkofer throws a shot to the body.
Cruz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Alkofer moves into range and connects with a jab.
Cruz is rocked!
Alkofer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Alkofer throws a nice looking combination but Cruz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Alkofer connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Cruz to the floor! Alkofer dives in looking for the finish!
Oh Cruz is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Alkofer content to control rather than advance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Alkofer maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Cruz could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Alkofer has cracked it and Cruz is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Alkofer!
