Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Greg Inglish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Mcpherson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greg Inglish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thomas Mcpherson!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inglish shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mcpherson as he jumps to the side.
Inglish stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Inglish wants it to stay on the feet.
Mcpherson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Inglish sprawls well. Inglish wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mcpherson gets slowly back to his feet.

Inglish scores a takedown into full mount!
Inglish takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Mcpherson is squirming around, avoiding Inglish's attempts to control the action.
Inglish is really struggling to control Mcpherson but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Inglish thows a huge punch but Mcpherson dodges it nicely.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Inglish lands a nice short elbow.
Inglish seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcpherson wants to control but Inglish is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Inglish sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mcpherson defending well though.
Inglish working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Inglish.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mcpherson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Inglish looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Inglish looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Inglish!

Mcpherson shoots in for a takedown but Inglish shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Horrible takedown by Mcpherson or perhaps it was just good defense by Inglish which made him look bad.
Inglish throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mcpherson's waist but Mcpherson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Inglish off to one side.

Mcpherson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Inglish is trying to defend but Mcpherson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are battling for position here. Inglish manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Inglish is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mcpherson is aware though and is defending well.
Inglish will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
